They say everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, but that’s usually just a nice way of saying “I’d love to continue this amicable debate, but you’re a blithering nimrod.”
Well now you can show those nimrods who’s right once and for all, at least where food’s concerned, when you attend the first-ever Tasting Table “Food Fight,” throwing down in Brooklyn’s Powerhouse Arena December 11th.
A gastronomic brannigan pitting dish against dish, Food Fight features 10 showdowns between New York food scene faves, including (but definitely not limited to):
- Num Pang’s beloved pork belly banh mi vs. Meatball Shop’s spicy pork meatball slider with parmesan cream.
- Union Square Cafe’s bacon and egg-stuffed gougéres vs. their own brioche French toast with roasted apples and huckleberry compote.
- Tate’s Bake Shop’s crispy cookies vs. Jacques Torres’s chewy counterparts.
All you have to do is eat, and enjoy an open bar slinging seasonal cocktails like the Spiced Holiday Margarita and Winter Gin Sour.
Then vote, by marking your prefered dish on a personal voting card.
The results will be announced via email the following day.
Then you’ll see who’s entitled to your opinion.
