Audience and Production Analyst Intern

Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic Audience and Production Analyst Intern to join our editorial team. The ideal candidate will support distribution strategies and help amplify our content across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support distribution strategies to extend the reach of our content across email, social media, SEO, partnerships, and other multi-platform channels.
• Assist with social media reporting on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
• Develop and execute engagement strategies using email and push notifications.
• Analyze audience preferences to optimize content and enhance engagement through notifications. 
• Assist in the production and execution of our newsletters, collaborating with the editorial team to curate daily content. 
• Propose creative strategies to drive commerce from social and other channels, using insights from past performance. 
• Collaborate with editors to optimize stories for major distribution channels and share insights on content performance with the editorial team. 
• Build articles in our CMS and assist with email builds. 

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of major distribution channels, including email, social media, photoshop and SEO.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and provide valuable insights.
• Skilled in prioritization, multi-tasking, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of navigating complex organizations and taking direction from manager and leadership.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and analytical, with a strong creative sensibility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Gsuite preferred).
• Positive attitude and enthusiastic work ethic. 
• Ability to work from the NY office three days a week. 

Compensation

• NYC Pay Range – $16 per hour
