Don’t scramble for dad’s gift. Instead, relax … and go get a drink.

You can easily find a bottle of booze that’ll match your father’s taste and personality, and getting one won’t take more than a quick stop at the liquor store or two clicks on your computer.

If you use a service like Drizly, you can probably order and get the bottle the same day. That said, it wouldn’t hurt to purchase something now — it’s why you’re reading this, right?

As for what to buy, here are five suggestions:

Heaven's Door

For the dad who loves music: Heaven’s Door 10-Year Tennessee Straight Bourbon

A limited-edition, 100-proof bourbon that’s sugar maple mellowed after distillation, straight from Bob Dylan’s distillery. The bottle arrives in a commemorative box with a printing of Dylan’s hand-typed lyrics to “Maggie’s Farm” and “Subterranean Homesick Blues.”

The Glenlivet

For giving dad a bottle he’ll never throw away: The Glenlivet

One of the classics, The Glenlivet allows you to personalize their Scotch bottles — Founder’s Reserve, 12, 15, 18 and 21 Year — for free.

Casa Noble

For dads who don’t think they like tequila: Casa Noble Single Barrel Extra Anejo

This limited-edition tequila, already aged for an unprecedented five years, gets an extra barrel aging inside a lightly charred French white oak barrel. Part of the first single barrel program for tequilas, each bottle is Individually numbered. Just don’t tell dad that there’s a $1200 version.

Redbreast

For immediate gratification: Redbreast 12 With Waterford Lismore Diamond Tumbler Set

A great pure pot still tipple and one-time Irish Whiskey of the Year (via the Whiskey Bible), this set arrives (note the glasses are sent separately) with two fine crystal tumblers. “Hey dad, it would mean a lot if we could share this moment…”

Frapin

For dads who like to mix things up: Frapin 1270

Not all dads are traditionalists. While this hails from a Cognac established in 1270 (hence the name) and this new release is certainly great on its own — it won the double gold at the San Francisco Spirit Awards — Frapin 1270 was actually designed for cocktails. Here’s one perfect for warmer days, as created by mixologist extraordinaire Pam Wiznitzer.
