President Trump is yet to agree to a Super Bowl pregame interview with NBC, a tradition the White House has taken part in the last several years, according to Variety. Trump has expressed plenty of antagonism toward NBC, the same network that broadcast The Apprentice, during his time in office, calling into question whether the tradition will continue. Last year, Trump interviewed with then-Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, and in 2016 Barack and Michelle Obama spoke with CBS’ Gayle King. The potential interview between Trump and NBC would likely cover Trump’s words of hostility toward players taking a knee during the national anthem earlier this season. NBC anchors Lester Holt, Megyn Kelly, Chuck Todd, and Savannah Guthrie would be likely candidates to interview Trump, should he agree.
