Interviews with Oprah, trips to Monaco, Met Gala magician outfits…no matter how you slice it, it’s been a weird offseason for the New England Patriots and Tom Brady.

Things got a little weirder on Tuesday afternoon when some Instagram surfers with a little too much time on their hands noticed that someone with some inside information had commented on an ESPN post about Brady’s retirement from the NFL coming “sooner rather than later.”

That commenter: Tom Brady himself.

To make his comment as open to interpretation as possible, Brady’s response to the piece was only in Spanish and emoji—no English.

“Cuarenta y cinco” translates to 45 in Spanish, which could be a reference to the age Brady sees himself retiring. But, it could also be signal of how many million dollars he wants to get in a contract extension.

As for the emojis, there’s a theory for those as well:

Just another day in the weirdest New England Patriots offseason to date…
