Air Force Shares Footage of Sgt. John Chapman’s Final Heroic Moments

President Trump will posthumously award Chapman's family with the Medal of Honor on August 22.

Tech Sgt John Chapman died on March 4, 2002, while assisting Navy SEALs in saving a wounded comrade who fell from an aircraft hit by a rocket-propelled grenade — and Fox News is reporting that the U.S. Air Force has released footage of his heroic final moments, which show him taking on Al Qaeda militants in hand-to-hand combat.

President Trump will reportedly award the Medal of Honor posthumously to Chapman’s family on August 22, Fox reports. Take a look at the clip below.
