As we’ve detailed, now is not a great time to buy a car, new or used. Thanks to a whole host of issues, inventory is low and demand is high, which means we’ll probably see a decrease this holiday season in vehicles sitting in driveways with oversized red bows. In what I can only assume is a festive effort to make up for this, the holiday cheermeisters over at Huckberry have teamed up with Bring a Trailer, the king of car auction sites, to gift some lucky person their “dream adventuremobile.”

Huckberry isn’t giving you the pick of Bring a Trailer’s expansive litter, but we think they’ve chosen a vehicle anyone with even the tiniest nostalgic bone in their body will love: a 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60. And not just any FJ60, but a super clean, period-correct FJ60 that hasn’t been upgraded to death and also won’t be a pain to maintain even if you don’t consider yourself a car person. As Hagerty noted last year, values for these old-school SUVs are rising in accordance with the even older FJ40s, but we hope that doesn’t dissuade the winner from taking this thing into the dirt.

Here’s how it works: The giveaway follows in the footsteps of Huckberry’s previous promotions (like when they offload a precious bottle of Pappy Van Winkle), so to enter you can spend $75 or more (after taxes, shipping and any Huckberry credit) between now and 11:59pm PT on December 12. It’s only open to U.S. residents, including D.C., but unfortunately those of you in New York and Florida are excluded. You can find the full details here.

The sweepstakes includes more than the Land Cruiser, though; they’re also throwing in $5K worth of gear, from a Yeti cooler to a battery starter to a national parks pass. So what can you buy to get you over the $75 mark that wouldn’t already be included in the prize? We’d say a pair of Nocs binoculars, Snow Peak’s stainless steel camp kettle, a Filson duffel bag that would look great in the back, a classic multitool like the Leatherman Wave Plus or Flint and Tinder’s Flannel-Lined Waxed Trucker Jacket which would work well with the FJ60’s vintage vibes.

Head here for more information about this 1985 Land Cruiser FJ60 and the giveaway, and definitely give the video below a watch where Huckberry Co-Founder Richard Greiner (himself an FJ60 owner) and Bring a Trailer Co-Founder and CEO Randy Nonnenberg discuss the vehicle and give a detailed walkaround.
