Each week, our inbox runneth over with news of gear, apparel and tech releases from around the world. In this feature, we’ll parse through the best of them. Today:  a Facebook x Ray-Ban collab, clothes from Peloton and an arousing CBD vape pen.

Ray-Ban

Ray-Ban Stories Smart Glasses

What’s better than a pair of timeless Ray-Ban Wayfarers? We still say nothing. But if you ask Mark Zuckerberg, that goofy tech overlord would tell you the new smart glasses Facebook has cooked up with Ray-Ban are, in fact, better than the originals. These shades can capture photos and video using two 5MP cameras, play music or take calls, and, well, protect your eyes like normal sunglasses. Whether you want to wear Facebook tech on your face is now up to you.

Tag Heuer

TAG Heuer Aquaracer Nightdiver Watch

This week TAG Heuer expanded its Aquaracer lineup with a few new takes on the dive watch. The one you should consider adding to your collection is the Nightdiver, a modern take on an ‘80s timepiece that featured glow-in-the-dark lume across the entire dial, and featured on Timothy Dalton’s wrist when he played Bond. Here, the revamped 43mm watch gets a black ceramic bezel, black DLC-coated steel case, black rubber strap and, of course, a contrasting, textured white dial with super bright Super-Luminova.

Outdoor Voices

Outdoor Voices Pickup Zip Up and Pickup Sweatpant

The cult-favorite activewear brand just added two new offerings to its collection of comfy loungewear: The Pickup Zip Up and The Pickup Sweatpant. The former is a classic “pickup and go” zip-up hoodie made with 100% soft cotton terry that looks to be a convenient, stylish layer you can simply throw on to go to the gym, run some errands or just hang out. While the brand’s new pair of joggers feature a relaxed fit also made in superbly soft cotton terry pairs well with the aforementioned Pickup Zip Up or any other sweatshirt or tee you may have.

Foria

Foria Intimacy Botanical Vape Pen with CBD

When the CBD sexual wellness brand launched its CBD vape pen, it quickly became a best-seller. The sleek-looking pen is designed to help alleviate stress and enhance intimacy during sex, and it’s sourced from USDA Organic certified hemp. Unfortunately, Foria was forced to discontinue the pen under the passage of the PACT Act in December 2020 that prompted USPS, FedEx and UPS to no longer ship vape-related products (which, btw, super lame.) After many months, Foria announced this week the pen is back (thanks to the USPS) with a new, even sleeker black look.

Timex

Q Timex 1978 Reissue Watch

For the most part, the Q Timex line of ‘70s archival reissues has been about bold choices: doing their own Pepsi bezel, pairing gold-tone accents with electric-blue dials, and stainless steel on stainless steel. The newest watch in the lineup bucks that trend, opting instead for a number of subtler, but no less deliberate, touches, from faceted hour markers to an angled date window.

Bose

Bose Smart Soundbar 900

Your flatscreen needs a soundbar, and that soundbar also needs to act as the audio center of your living room. Bose’s Dobly Atmos 900 does that, offering an immersive, theater-like experience and the smart AI of your choice in a sleek package that you can pair with your other Bose home speakers.

Allen Edmonds

Discovery Moto Boot + Discovery Suede Moto Boot by Armando Cabral For Allen Edmonds

For the first installment of Allen Edmonds’ new “My Life’s Work” campaign, shoemaker and model Armando Cabral has designed two versions of the brand’s classic eco-conscious Discovery Moto Boot, a leather and suede offering. Handcrafted in Port Washington, Wisconsin. 100% of the proceeds from the limited drop will be donated to Armando’s philanthropic efforts to benefit the African community and salient social justice causes.

Peloton

Peloton Apparel

Their bikes are getting cheaper, so use those savings to stock up on Peloton’s new line of athletic gear, which uses four different fabrics (from high-compressive performance to “buttery-soft” everyday wear) but is all designed with movement in mind. Gotta admit, these striped maroon shorts add some flash.

New Balance

New Balance x Levis Made in USA 990v3

Once again, New Balance and Levi’s have come together for a new take on a MADE in USA classic: the 990v3. Situated on an ENCAP midsole, the shoe’s upper features layers of cow suede and hairy suede with Levi’s iconic denim, while a New Balance/Levi’s hybrid label sits on the sides.

Amass

Amass Afterdream

Forget the G&T. Described as an “ultra-premium cannabis-infused non-alcoholic spirit,” Amass — which makes both a gin and some hard seltzers we like — just launched this buzzy, no-calorie, non-booze drink in California, which features 3.5 mg THC, 3.5 mg CBD and 3.5 mg Delta-8 per serve, along with 14 natural botanicals “inspired by the California coast.”
