At long last, Mack Weldon’s face masks are back in stock.
The masks source the same fabric mixture as our favorite pair of Mack Weldon boxers: butter-soft Supima cotton laced with real, antimicrobial silver (used in garments for years by both NASA and U.S. Special Forces). Each mask has three protective layers, illustrated here, for shape, water-resistance and particle blocking.
When I originally picked up a pair of the masks, I planned to use them for everyday occurrences: going to the grocery store, riding the train. But I’ve since added running to that list. Though it isn’t billed as a “sports mask,” the Silver Mask is one of the most breathable and comfortable coverings I’ve worn while jogging around town this year.
