Summer Rental Guide

Montauk. The Hamptons. Upstate.

  • 11 March 2014

Gentlemen, look to your windows.

It’s sunny. It’s almost 60. Somewhere, a bird is chirping. Probably in Brooklyn.

With such climatic inspiration in mind, we’re proud to present InsideHook’s Summer Rental Guide.

Inside, we’ve picked ten of the choicest Tri-state rentals, from the Hamptons to the North Fork to the wooded wilds of Upstate.

There’s a beach house on a lake. An off-the-grid luxury cottage. A mansion built by an officer in Napoleon’s army. A little something for everyone.

Meanwhile, if you want to book the whole season (looking at you, Hamptons set), you should be using a broker.

For Montauk, we suggest Corcoran. For Southampton, use Brown Harris Stevens. For East Hampton, holler at Elliman. Does the broker have an office in the town you’re looking at? That’s a good sign.

To see what’s available out east, check out the map at the Hamptons and North Fork Realtors Association.

Better get started though. The best spots go quick.

We’ll see you out there.
