As if Sunday were not sweet enough for the championship-starved city of Philadelphia, the Eagles are well-suited to deliver more titles in the coming years. Bleacher Report explored the era of stability and excellence that the Eagles officially entered with their Super Bowl victory. First, there’s the fact that the Eagles’ MVP-caliber quarterback Carson Wentz will return next season, relegating the Super Bowl champion Nick Foles to second-string. Then there’s the fact that the Eagles will return their core stars for years to come, from Wentz to Fletcher Cox to Malcolm Jenkins. The fact that Doug Pederson gets to hold onto his trusted coordinators, Frank Reich and Jim Schwartz, is yet another confidence boost for overjoyed Eagles fans.
