Roger Goodell and Jerry Jones will meet Monday for the league’s hearing on legal fees incurred by Jones’ actions over the past several months, according to The Dallas Morning News. The Palm Beach hearing regards the $2 million of legal expenses caused by Jones’ threat to sue over Goodell’s contract extension and his alleged bankrolling of Ezekiel Elliott’s legal defense. Elliott was suspended six games over allegations of domestic violence, a case which Elliott took to federal court. The league’s other owners are behind the financial complaints against Jones, whose relationship with the league has been rocky for the past six months. Jones will be under oath when he meets with Goodell, the man he campaigned against for the entirety of the chaotic 2017 season.
