Both the 2018 NFL Draft and free agent class are stacked with quarterbacks, making this offseason a thrilling one for teams in need of new direction. Sports Illustrated’s Peter King dove into this quarterback mess in his new column, predicting how each team will resolve its quandary behind center for next season. King has the Broncos taking home the crown jewel of this year’s free agents, Kirk Cousins. The perpetually in-need Cleveland Browns will sign the oft-injured Sam Bradford and draft USC prospect Sam Darnold, according to King. The best team with a quarterback vacancy, the Minnesota Vikings, have a variety of options, and King believes they will resign 2017 starter Case Keenum and hold onto Teddy Bridgewater. As for the New York teams, King has the Jets drafting Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield, and the Giants selecting Wyoming’s Josh Allen.
