After two wild weekends of play, the Final Four is in place.
Top seed Villanova is in, as is Kansas. Michigan, a trendy championship pick, will also be taking the floor in Chicago.
Then there’s the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers, the little No. 11 seed that could.
All of the programs have won a national title in the past, with Villanova being the most recent champ with their 2016 victory. It’s been longer for the Ramblers; they won it all in 1963 during the Kennedy administration.
In Vegas, Villanova is favored, followed by Michigan, Kansas and Loyola-Chicago.
Despite the long odds, Les Hunter, a member of Loyola-Chicago’s championship team, believes the Ramblers can get the job done.“
I think they’re the best right now,” Hunter told The Associated Press. “They work so well together. They can play with anybody — anybody — right now.”
