Former Cardinals coach Bruce Arians added fuel to the fire of the Nick-Saban-to-NFL rumors on Tuesday when he said the Alabama coach “covets” the New York Giants job. Arians was on The Herd with Colin Cowherd when he was asked if he thought Saban would consider a move to the NFL after winning his sixth national championship game on Monday. He and Alabama legend Bear Bryant are tied for the most championship wins in college football history. “It wouldn’t surprise me,” Arians said, according to Sports Illustrated. “There’s a job he covets and it just happens to be open.” The job Arian references is the Giants position.
