Paramount Pictures has released a sneak peek of Taron Egerton in full costume as Elton John for the upcoming biopic Rocketman. Egerton, most famous for his role in the Kingsman franchise, dons a gold jacket and winged shoes on a private jet in the first released still from the set.
Jamie Bell, Gemma Jones, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Richard Madden will join Egerton in the Dexter Fletcher-directed movie. The biopic will span Elton John’s early years, from his time at the Royal Academy of Music to his breakout success.
Egerton’s big moment will come May 31, 2019, when Rocketman hits theaters.
