Russian state television aired footage of a “high-tech robot” that turned out to be a person in a Russian robot suit.

Russia-24 praised the android while covering a robots-themed youth conference claiming that “Robot Boris has already learned to dance and he’s not that bad,” The Guardian reports.

MBKh Media, a news agency founded by a Putin opponent, published an image of an actor in what appears to be the very same robot suit, which is available for purchase from Show Robots for nearly $4000.

Although people might feel tricked, the organizers of the Proyektoria tech forum, which is held each year for future intellectual leaders of Russia, never tried to pass off the robot as real.

On Wednesday morning it appeared as though the video had been removed from Russia-24’s YouTube account but it reappeared hours later.
