Bullied Child Invited by Trump to SOTU Hailed a Hero for Falling Asleep

The 11-year-old boy who was invited by the First Lady to the State of the Union address after the child, who shares Trump’s last name, was bullied by his peers didn’t seem too impressed by his presidential proximity.

That’s because Joshua Trump dozed off during Trump’s divisive speech. He might, however, lean in to his new title as a pint-sized hero.

The middle-school student from Delaware dropped out of school after being bullied because of his last name, The Guardian reported, but is now the focus of many a fan on social media after millions spotted him snoozing during Trump’s speech.

One Twitter user, who posted a screenshot of the younger Trump asleep, wrote: “JOSHUA TRUMP RULES.”

“Joshua Trump, welcome to the resistance,” said another, while one user quipped the child was “the only good Trump.”

“Everybody needs a little executive time,” another user noted, referencing Trump’s “executive time,” in which, according to a leaked schedule, the president spends nearly 60% of his scheduled time at the White House enjoying.
