Disappointing news for Game of Thrones fans still waiting for George R.R. Martin to complete The Winds of Winter. The prolific writer has reportedly been tapped to executive produce Nnedi Okorafor’s Who Fears Death for HBO, Vice is reporting.

The network has not yet commented on whether or not it has picked up the show, but the storyline sounds riveting. Who Fears Death won the 2011 World Fantasy Award, Vice notes, and is admired for its blend of science fiction and fantasy. It has been described by the Washington Post as “both wondrously magical and terribly realistic.”
