As we gear up to travel more this season — beach, camping, pool, vacation, etc. — we definitely want a speaker to bring along that can handle any situation, indoors or out. The Sonos Roam is a top-tier option wherever you’re going, and today, the Roam is at its lowest price ever.
We reviewed the Roam last year; the depth, bass and power were noticeably better than almost any other similar speaker we’ve tried. It charges wirelessly and can play up to 10 hours between power-ups. And it features an IP67 waterproof rating, so it’s just fine on beach days.
I don’t use the Roam within my apartment, but if you already have Sonos speakers it’s easy enough to add one (or more) of these to your existing sound system. And it’s a “smart” speaker, which is ideal when you’re trying to switch music without fiddling with a lot of buttons or an app (which you can still do if you prefer).
Sonos just added a bunch of colors to the Roam lineup, and those are unfortunately not part of the sale (you can get black or white); however, the current discount is available both through Sonos and via the usual big e-commerce giants for the same price.
