Porsche Is Starting Its Own Taxi Service in London

The good news about Porsche’s new on-demand taxi service is that Porsche has a new on-demand taxi service.

The bad news is:

It is only being offered in central London.
It is only being offering for six months.
It is only being offered to previous Porsche customers who may need a new one in the future.

That said, if you happen to own a Porsche and plan to be in London before May of next year, we’d suggest downloading the Gett app so you’ll have the opportunity to book a chauffeured ride in one of 100 Porsches, including the Panamera Cayenne and Macan hybrid models.

If you’re eligible, Gett is charging a flat-rate fee of £20 for any ride within central London and may be willing to provide trips outside of that zone for an additional fee.

Even if you’re not, the bright side of the offer is that Porsche will be using the results to inform their future strategy for on-demand premium transportation, Motoring Research reported.

That’s a drive in the right direction.
