One of the most iconic pieces of furniture ever designed, the mid-’50s club chair is a permanent fixture in the MoMA, and somehow as cool today as when it was first released.
The original vision was a chair that resembled a “well-used first basemen’s mitt.” Charles and Ray Eames realized that vision by using molded plywood technology, and the chair has been in continuous production ever since.
