Rivian Teamed Up With Snow Peak to Launch the Ultimate Outdoor Cooking Setup
The collaboration supplants the R1T as the ultimate adventure EV
As Rivian customers eagerly await delivery of the highly-anticipated R1T, the California-based EV manufacturer is putting more stock in its clientele’s proclivity for the outdoors. With tremendous range, impressive towing and powerful acceleration, the R1T now includes the Camp Kitchen — an innovative cooking setup that comes complete with tools and utensils from Snow Peak.
Known for its innovative collection of outdoor gear and apparel, Snow Peak adds a 30-piece kitchen set, cookware and tableware to ensure owners have everything they need to rustle up grub in the backcountry. The Camp Kitchen is housed within the R1T’s Gear Tunnel, a 65-inch long channel behind the cab that runs the width of the truck. Pull out the Gear Tunnel Shuttle (a platform that allows the Camp Kitchen to slide out) and you’ll find a two-burner induction cooktop that’s powered by the truck’s battery, as well as cookware and tableware for four people provided by Snow Peak.
Keep in mind, the Rivian Camp Kitchen x Snow Peak collection is only available to customers pre-ordering an R1T with a Camp Kitchen.
