Playing against the team that represented the NFC in the Super Bowl last season, the Baltimore Ravens certainly looked as if they’ll be playing in the big game for the AFC in Miami come February.

MVP favorite Lamar Jackson completed 15-of-20 passes for 169 yards and five touchdowns as the Ravens destroyed the Rams 45-6 at the Coliseum in Los Angeles.

Jackson, who added 95 rushing yards on eight attempts, didn’t even play for the majority of the fourth quarter after exiting the game with Baltimore comfortably ahead 42-6.

The second-year QB’s touchdown passes went to Marquise Brown (two), Willie Snead (two), and Mark Ingram, who also added a rushing score.

“We’re clicking on all cylinders right now,” Jackson said. “It’s OK, but we’re trying to win the Super Bowl. This is cool, but we’re chasing that right now, and that’s what we’re focused on.”

For the Rams, quarterback Jared Goff’s lost season continued as he completed 26-of-37 passes for 212 scoreless yards and two interceptions in the loss.

It’s been a nightmarish stretch for Goff as he now has four touchdown passes compared to five interceptions and six fumbles over his last six games.

The Ravens host the NFC-leading 49ers in Week 13 in what should be one of the best games of the week. However, with the way Jackson is playing, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that matchup will be a blowout as well.

The 6-5 Rams go to Arizona in Week 13 and, given how Goff has looked, it’s possible the 3-7 Cardinals will be favored in that one.
