There’s only one downside about a beer brand promising to reward anyone who signs up to win 95 free cases of beer if Brooks Koepka notches a hole-in-one at a PGA event this year:
The beer company in question is Michelob Ultra.
Koepka, who starts his quest today at The Players Championship and will continue on to an additional nine PGA outings this year as part of the contest, has never hit a hole-in-one at a tournament event and, according to ESPN, the odds of him doing so are about 2,500-to-1.
The 95 cases – which symbolizes the same number of calories in a Michelob Ultra — will contain 2,280 cans of beer in all and be doled out to fans over the course of a four-year span.
To get in on the action (which is only legal in 22 states and D.C. because 28 states have uptight liquor laws) all you have to do is visit the “A Round On Brooks” promotion page and sign up.
Eyes on the prize, Koepka.
