Sitting Outside, Upgraded

Stately patio trappings from BK’s Todd St. John

Sunshine is coming one of these days, oh soggy men of New York.

Sooner rather than later.

And when it does, you may want to sit outside and enjoy it.

The apparatus you should be sitting on: a handsomely woody folding lounge chair from Brooklyn furniture virtuoso Todd St. John, now available for keister parking.

Typical aluminum-and-plastic-webbing jobbies these most certainly ain’t.

St. John uses locally sourced solid walnut, heavy-duty nylon and custom brass hardware to craft sittin’ kits befitting, well, an award-winning designer who counts Toyota and MTV among his clients.

As such, definitely not meant to be left outside – this is one you’ll want to fold up and tote back into your living room when you’re done reclining with a churched-up frosty concoction of your own making

Where, it bears noting, it will look every bit as good as the rest of your furniture.

Hell, there’s even an accompanying ottoman for heretofore unachieved levels of outdoor relaxation.

Also on offer: stately walnut and glass side tables, deftly cantilevered floor lamps and a credenza that looks like someone taught Pablo Picasso woodshop.

St. John even does custom jobs, should you require something a little more specific.

Set of custom coasters, perhaps?
