Craving a Bottled Negroni Sbagliato? Now You Can Pre-Order One.

Don't worry, there's prosecco in it

Earlier this month, House of the Dragon‘s Emma D’Arcy set the internet on fire by discussing their cocktail of choice. D’Arcy made the case for a Negroni Sbagliato (say it with me: “with prosecco in it”), and millions of people found the clip of them discussing said drink entirely enticing. Perhaps it was due to D’Arcy’s delivery of the phrase; perhaps it was the fact that, hey, said cocktail does sound delicious. Perhaps it was both. Google even got into the action with an Easter egg celebrating the drink choices of D’Arcy and their costar, Olivia Cooke.

All of this has led to a sizable amount of momentum on the side of the Negroni Sbagliato. An informal and wholly un-scientific survey of my Twitter feed suggested that a sizable number of friends and acquaintances planned to order or make said cocktail in the wake of D’Arcy’s viral clip.

But for those who’d rather do their drinking at home and don’t have the right ingredients there, there’s a new option available — as long as you’re somewhat patient. Eater reports that a bottled version of the Negroni Sbagliato is now available for pre-order from the Brooklyn distillery St. Agrestis.

The distillery is now selling eight-packs of the bottled cocktail, with shipping scheduled to begin next month. On their website, they describe it as “[a] combination of the St. Agrestis Inferno Bitter Aperitivo, house-made Torino style vermouth and imported Prosecco directly from the Veneto.” That does indeed sound delicious.

In addition to the apertivo used for this cocktail, St. Agrestis currently offers an array of bottled Negronis for sale, including a non-alcoholic version.
