Production on The Price Is Right has come to a halt in response to the sudden death of host Drew Carey’s former fiancée, Amie Harwick. As Page Six reports, the game show will be on hiatus this week and potentially will remain that way until March 2.

Harwick, 38, was found dead early Saturday (Feb. 15) after falling from a third-floor balcony of her home in the Hollywood Hills. Her ex-boyfriend, Gareth Pursehouse, 41, was taken into custody and charged with her murder. Harwick and Pursehouse had recently broken up, and as Deadline reports, Harwick had expressed fear for her safety and received a restraining order against Pursehouse, though the restraining order had expired.

Harwick and Carey broke up in 2018 after a year-long engagement. The host paid tribute to her on Twitter on Monday, writing, “I hope you’re lucky enough to have someone in your life that loves as much as she did.”
