After netting six goals for the U.S. during the World Cup, Megan Rapinoe just scored a pair of major deals off the pitch.

The USWNT star has inked a two-book deal with Penguin Press and will write both fall of 2020, the untitled project was acquired by Penguin Press president and editor in chief Ann Godoff and will include anecdotes from the 34-year-old winger’s life.

“A lot of women, great women soccer players, have written memoirs,” Godoff told The Times. “Megan has a different platform. She’s just operating from this very honest and straightforward and ‘This is who I am’ place. I think that’s what many people aspire to.”

In addition to social justice, the books will address politics, LGBTQ rights and pay equity for women. “I hope this book will inspire people to find what they can do, and in turn inspire other people around them to do the same,” Rapinoe said of her forthcoming adult book in an email to The Times.

When Rapinoe goes out on her book tour after the titles are complete, you may want to check her out for the style tips alone.
