He’s yet to move past Tom Brady in accomplishments on the field, but Jimmy Garoppolo has pushed past his former teammate in at least one area off of it: jersey sales.
From April 1 through June 23, the Patriot-turned-49er had the best-selling jersey amongst NFL quarterbacks on the league’s official online shop.
In fact, Garoppolo’s jersey was the second-most popular overall behind only the blue-and-white uniform of New York Giants rookie running back Saquon Barkley.
Following Garoppolo on the list are Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, Brady, Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield, Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, Jets quarterback Sam Darnold, Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, and Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott.
At No. 17 overall, Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey is the first defensive player on the list.
