Blue Jays, Josh Donaldson Reach Record Arbitration Deal
ESPN reports star 3rd baseman agrees to $23 million deal for 2018.

That beats the previous high set last May when the Nationals resigned Bryce Harper for $21.65 million. Donaldson, 32, the 2015 AL MVP, had been the subject of reported trade interest throughout the offseason.
