George Clooney, Beyoncé, Barbra Streisand Tapped for Hurricane Harvey Telethon

One-hour show will be simulcast on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, and cable net CMT on Sept. 12.

The devastation Hurricane Harvey reaped on Texas has brought out the best in Americans, and stars of all stripes are coming out to raise funds for relief in the most effected areas.

George Clooney, Barbra Streisand, Beyoncé, Reese Witherspoon, Oprah, and others will be making appearances at a one-hour telethon on Sept. 12, “Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Harvey Relief,” which will simulcast on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, and cable network CMT, according to Variety.

Also appearing live in concert will be country artist George Strait from San Antonio’s Majestic Theater.

Organizations that will receive money directly from the event include United Way of Greater Houston, and Habitat for Humanity, among others. Additional guests will include Karlie Kloss, Jamie Foxx, Matthew McConaughey, Ryan Seacrest, and Adam Sandler.
