There is nothing like a good pair of multipurpose shorts. Especially in the heart of summer, when the sun isn’t going down until 9 P.M., and any given day is likely to include hikes, golf, gardening, backyard BBQs or an impromptu game of wiffle ball.
Over the past few years, most men’s brands have offered their take on the “all day” short. But one of our favorites is from SoCal-based activewear brand Vuori. Their Ripstop Climber Shorts are made from a mix of organic cotton and elastane, which ensures they’re comfy for dawn-to-dusk wear, and capable of moving with you — and handling the heat — whenever the day gets a little more active.
The shorts feature a elastic waistband, drawcord and zip pocket, and come in six different colorways. We’re partial to the Black Como, but if you’re looking for a pair you can comfortably wear to family functions, opt for the Khaki or Dark Oregano.
