Anthony Scaramucci will be hosting an online event on Friday so he can reach and communicate directly with President Donald Trump’s base.

The daytime event will be broadcast on various live platforms thanks to former Fox News co-president Bill Shine.

Scaramucci was fired his position as communications director after only 10 days on the job by new chief of staff John Kelly. He told CNN that he had anticipated being in the position for six to nine months, and said he was brought in as a “special purpose vehicle” to disrupt the culture of leaking in the White House.

An internal memo revealed that his other goals included trying to improve press relations and create more content from within the White House.

The memo, dated July 30 and titled “Communications Plan,” also indicated that Scaramucci planned to “professionalize” the communications team, reports BuzzFeedand a number of the ideas suggested bypassing the mainstream media to appeal straight to the base. However, the memo also said that the communications team cannot fight with the media, but instead, “Comms should seek to de-escalate tensions with the media.”

The memo was first posted in full on Medium by pro-Trump media personality Mike Cernovich.

Scaramucci believes his short tenure was successful, according to CNN. He is still planning to sell his firm, SkyBridge Capital, reports Business InsiderPeople close to Scaramucci say he still sees a future for himself in politics, “especially now that he thinks President Trump owes him a favor for his role in getting rid of former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus.”

Scaramucci grew up on the North Shore of Long Island and was the first in his family to attend Harvard Law School. He was hired at Goldman Sachs and then fired and then rehired two months later.

By 2008 he was so rich that he was featured on a CNBC special called “Untold Wealth.” He had always been attracted to Trump, and in the summer of 2016, there were rumors that he was angling for a post on Trump’s admin, but Business Insider reports that pretty much all of Wall Street was shocked when Scaramucci became White House communications director.

It also recently leaked that his wife, Deidre, is divorcing him, right after giving birth to their son.
