French President Emmanuel Macron Channels His Inner James Bond

French president Emmanuel Macron is making waves by posting a photograph on Twitter of himself being lowered onto the nuclear submarine Le Terrible from a helicopter.

People on Twitter could not handle it, and started to compare Macron to James Bond.

Others called him “President Handsome.”

BBC reports that he spent several hours underwater on the submarine to “signal commitment to France’s nuclear deterrent.”

Macron previously gained attention for his official portrait and environment-themed selfies with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
