You might have loved Beck’s last album, 2014’s Morning Phase, which won a trio of Grammy awards, including Album of the Year. But it likely felt like the return of the mostly-acoustic, sad-sack Beck—the one who bummed everyone out on 2002’s breakup album, Sea Change. (That one is worth checking out too, but bring a box of Kleenex along with you.)

Fast-forward three years, and it sounds like the artist has shaken whatever stirred him and has gotten his mojo back full force, lobbing an upbeat, dance-y single at us called “Up All Night,” from his forthcoming album, Colors, due out on Oct. 13. (It sounds like the kissing cousin of Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky.”)

The equally enjoyable video, which features an inhaler-huffing, chrome-armored young woman crashing a party to rescue her boyfriend, is almost guaranteed to lift your spirits. Watch it above.
