Oscar-winning actor Denzel Washington is gearing up for a high-powered performance in Roman J. Israel, Esq., in which he portrays a defense attorney with questionable temperament navigating the blustery underbelly of the criminal justice system in Los Angeles. Directed by Oscar-nominated Nightcrawler filmmaker Dan Gilroy, this trailer is worth pausing to watch.
