It’s Been a Decade Since Phones Looked Like This, Yet Here We Are

Your grandpa's phone just became cool again.

We had a notion the glory days of the ‘90s and early aughts were coming back around when we heard Zima was returning and now, after finding out about Samsung’s latest release, we’re positive.

A forward-thinking throwback that’ll get your nostalgia flowing, the Galaxy Folder 2 is a flip phone that runs Android Marshmallow and is wired up with a 1.4GHz quad-core processor.

Equipped with a 3.8-inch screen that can display videos, photos and text, the Galaxy Folder 2 can handle almost everything a standard smartphone can but makes it happen with an old school keypad that’ll have you dusting off your T9 texting skills like Friends was still a thing.

If that wasn’t enough vintage goodness, the phone is also programmed with 15 classic ringtones, but it also has 2GB of RAM and a slot that can expand its capacity to 256GB of storage if you want to download your own.

Unfortunately, unless something changes, the $260 phone will only be available in South Korea (at least until someone comes up with a knockoff version … China we’re looking at you).

However, if you’re not headed to Seoul anytime soon, this should sate your vintage phone fix.
