When we heard that Todd Snyder, L.L.Bean and Peanuts came together for a little capsule collection, it did sort of feel like someone drew three brands out of a hat in some goofy menswear improv. But like all Todd Snyder collabs, there’s a method to the madness, and the finished product is a whimsical winner.
In fact, our favorite styles from the run, these midweight French terry sweatshirts, are for some reason 50% off, down from $149 to just $74 a pop. The discount extends to all three versions, including a bottle green color featuring Snoopy and Woodstock camping, a black one with them at the top of Maine’s Mount Katahdin, and even a camo one with them hiking. I can’t understand why these didn’t sell out initially, as they’re just plain fun (and made in the U.S.A.), but you can rectify that by picking one up at a hefty discount. Or, you know, all three.
