According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the NBA’s anonymous hotline has received “multiple tips” reporting violations of the health and safety protocol at the league’s bubble in Orlando.
“Some players have received warnings from violations, sources said, as league ensures social distancing and mask protocols on campus,” Charania reported on Twitter.
Whether it is because he’s the president of the NBPA Executive Committee or because he once snitched on an opposing player for having his jersey untucked in order get a delay of game call that helped his team win a game, many people seem to think it is All-Star point guard Chris Paul who is making all the calls to the hotline.

Though he isn’t going into the bubble after testing positive for COVID-19 and experiencing symptoms, Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie still offered up four rules for NBA players in Orlando — including don’t call the snitch hotline.
Asked Spencer Dinwiddie if he had a message for guys that are IN the bubble.
I’m just gonna leave this here. I was not expecting him to say this. Lol pic.twitter.com/1xfbKVh3RW

“To all my fellow NBA players, don’t call the snitch hotline,” the 27-year-old said.
(“Don’t fly LA work out” is a reference to Utah Jazz guard star Donovan Mitchell allegedly inviting women to come and join him in the bubble, a rumor that has not been confirmed.)
Players who violate the rules at the bubble receive a warning followed by a suspension and then an outright campus ban. Two players — Rockets forward Bruno Caboclo and Kings center Richaun Holmes — have already broken the rules and been forced to re-quarantine in their rooms within the bubble.
