Wears well. Looks sharp. Tougher than a $2 steak.
Downside: breaking it in is a motherf***er.
Unless you’re copping from DSTLD, a new online-only denim concern that sells raw denim in soft, tailored fits at wholesale prices.
DSTLD sources raw, indigo-dyed denim from Japan, adds a little lycron for softness and durability, then hits the same DTLA cut and sew house that Citizens of Humanity and Diesel use.
Difference is, DSTLD sells direct (no middleman), so you pay wholesale.
Fits come in three sizes (cigarette, slim, and straight) and two washes (dark indigo or matte grey). They pair equally well with a plain-white T or buttons and a blazer.
Either way, it’s tough to beat.
