DSTLD has your denim needs covered

  • 22 September 2014

Raw denim.

Wears well. Looks sharp. Tougher than a $2 steak.

Downside: breaking it in is a motherf***er.

Unless you’re copping from DSTLD, a new online-only denim concern that sells raw denim in soft, tailored fits at wholesale prices.

DSTLD began in women’s jeans. Hence these shut-the-blinds photoshoots with Charlotte McKinney, Bryana Holly and Treats! publisher Steve Shaw (NSFW alert on the latter).

And now they’re offering men’s.

DSTLD sources raw, indigo-dyed denim from Japan, adds a little lycron for softness and durability, then hits the same DTLA cut and sew house that Citizens of Humanity and Diesel use.

Difference is, DSTLD sells direct (no middleman), so you pay wholesale.

Fits come in three sizes (cigarette, slim, and straight) and two washes (dark indigo or matte grey). They pair equally well with a plain-white T or buttons and a blazer.

Either way, it’s tough to beat.
