If there’s one thing Pornhub loves, it’s mixing charity and innuendo. Earlier this pandemic, the porn site launched its “Cleanest Porn Ever” campaign, followed by a series of sexy and instructional “Scrubhub” videos to help everyone master proper pandemic hand-washing protocol. Now, Pornhub is unveiling its “Big Package,” a relief effort for small businesses hit hard by the financial strain of the pandemic.
In the Big Package project, the site is offering free ad space to 100 small businesses. Companies of 100 employees or fewer will have the opportunity to compete for the chance to be seen by Pornhub’s 130 million daily users by creating a series of customized ads for the site.
“We noticed that when it comes to which businesses are more easily bouncing back from the pandemic, size matters,” Pornhub’s vice president, Corey Price, said in a press release, adding that over 100,000 small businesses have been forced to close due to the pandemic. “Bolstering an eclectic user base made up of various demographics, businesses that advertise with us are not only able to connect with their target audience, but enhance their overall brand visibility, especially during this time when the world is more digitally connected than ever.”
Companies seem more than willing to play along with Pornhub’s penchant for sexual puns, with quotes from ads included in a recent video announcing the campaign including, “Do you like bush?” from a florist, “You’ll swallow every last drop” courtesy of a coffee shop, and a barber who promises to “shave it all off.”
Prior to showing off its Big Package, Pornhub’s other charitable efforts to aid in coronavirus relief included offering free premium porn subscriptions to bored and horny quarantiners everywhere, as well as offering to stream an indie film festival. Altruism, but make it sexy.
