Pornhub may not normally be your go-to destination for good, clean fun. But this is the age of coronavirus, and in an attempt to help you help flatten the curve, Pornhub is getting clean.
With the new “Cleanest Porn Ever” campaign, the internet’s leading porn provider is putting a sexy spin on COVID-era sanitization. The campaign features a variety of instructional videos, of both SFW and NSFW varieties, in which models and performers demonstrate proper hygiene, social distancing and safe sex practices.
“Instructional videos can be dry and boring,” said Pornhub vice president Corey Price in a press release, “but this entertaining series proves that social distancing can still be sexy.”
The clean-themed campaign follows two other COVID-era initiatives from the adult site, including its pledge to provide free premium porn worldwide during quarantine and the recent “Scrubhub” campaign teaching viewers how to properly wash their hands to raise money for US-based non-profit organizations Invisible Hands and Frontline Foods.
And while Pornhub has been a leader in coronavirus charity, the brand’s legacy in the growing field of charity porn actually far predates its recent pandemic-era efforts. Pornhub Cares launched back in 2015, and the company has completed a number of charitable campaigns since. The most recent Cleanest Porn Ever campaign is actually something of a callback to last year’s “Dirtiest Porn Ever” campaign for ocean pollution awareness.
For an era of limited physical touch, this pandemic has proven surprisingly sexy, from skyrocketing sex toy sales and public displays of internet horniness to all the masturbation you know is definitely happening. In the midst of this strangely sexy time, Pornhub has proven a not totally surprising force in the fight against COVID-19, encouraging us all to stay in and get off to some good, clean porn.
