The Biggest Name in Car Cargo Now Makes a Hardshell Carry-On

Thule's new hand luggage can take on cobblestone, late flights

March 5, 2018 9:00 am EST

Good luck tripping this suitcase up, charming European alleyway.

Ditto you, flight leaving in 15 minutes while said suitcase’s owner makes a mad dash through security.

The automobile storage stalwarts at Thule just revealed their first ever hardshell luggage collection with the Revolve, a light-as-feathers, durable-as-heck virgin polycarbonate frame, engineered for easy use over uneven surfaces.

How is the luggage going to conquer everything from cobblestones to campgrounds? (Not to mention differentiate itself from the myriad othe upstarts — like Away — in the hand luggage game?) An eight-wheel system featuring intentionally oversized rear wheels and descended front wheels that leave extra room for packing, not to mention a TSA-approved lock and felt liner inside.

The line officially drops in three colorways across four sizes … in February of next year.
