Lems Designed the Ultimate All-Purpose Shoe

A couple weeks ago, our editors named their favorite travel shoes. Each of the eight kicks we chose can handle high step-counts, shifting dinner reservations and hotel room carpets with equal aplomb. Still, it would appear we had a pretty significant omission.

Boulder-based brand Lems recently debuted a new shoe on Huckberry, the first time it’s done so in three years, and in its time off, the brand has clearly mastered the all-purpose shoe. Mesa is a trail sneaker masquerading as an urban trainer, with lightweight, quick-drying tech and a sock-like fit. Most impressive about the construction, though, is its rollable packing design. You can fold the shoes back, and easily stuff them in the corner of your suitcase, without having to worry about damaging them or leaving stretch marks.

Find good sizing in forest green and black on Huckberry, and limited sizing for blue.
