Garmin is currently discounting a variety of its satellite-powered wearables, including our favorite running watch, the Forerunner 235. It’s $100 off, which pretty much never happens.

While some of Garmin’s GPS watches can be a bit intimidating — offering runners features like “solar intensity” and a “three-axis electronic compass” — the 235 keeps it simple. It tracks your route, gives you your current pace, calories burned, and split times, monitors heart rate and VO2 max, and syncs easily with Strava.

We’re also big fans of the battery life, which lasts forever, and the 100% waterproof design. In short, it’s a great watch, and a perfect one for people who started running this year.
