I don’t know a lot about cooking because I don’t like to cook, but I am aware that knives are a very important facet of the culinary experience. Plus, knives are cool — they’re sharp, pointy, a little scary … what’s not to like? And although my skills in the kitchen may be limited (read: nonexistent), I know a good knife when I see one, like this Zwilling Pro 7″ Chef’s Knife, now $85 off at Verishop for a cool $49.99. As far as knives go, it looks pretty knife-y and well equipped to cut up some things, and taking into account that it was once $134.99 (for a single knife??) that has to mean something in terms of quality. Besides, I have it on good authority that this is a good starter knife.
