Kansas City Royals Attended an Anti-Porn Seminar at Spring Training
The weekend workshop was hosted by anti-pornography group Fight The New Drug.

Over the weekend, the Kansas City Royals put down their bats and gloves so they could step up to the plate in the fight against pornography.
In conjunction with anti-pornography group Fight the New Drug, the Royals had their players and coaches attend a seminar about the harmful effects of porn because, as pro athletes, they are especially at risk to become addicted – at least according to the organization.
The reason the group sought out Kansas City is because Royals general manager Dayton Moore previously indicated there’s a link between watching pornography and domestic abuse during a press conference last year.
According to FTND’s website, they are “passionate about influencing an entire generation to rise up and fight the status quo by rejecting the idea that porn is healthy, normal, or cool.”
Based on the faces of the attendees of the weekend workshop, it’s unclear if they agree.
