The simmering beef between Jalen Ramsey of the Los Angeles Rams and Golden Tate of the New York Giants spilled into overtime on Sunday.

Following LA’s 17-9 victory on Sunday, Ramsey and Tate were in the middle of a brawl at midfield.

Though neither player talked about it after the game, it is believed the fight was because Ramsey has two young daughters with Tate’s younger sister Breanna Tate and broke up with her last summer while she was pregnant.

“I’m not happy at all with the disrespect that he’s shown towards my sister, and the things he’s done in the past,” Tate previously told The New York Post.

Prior to the fight, Ramsey had a big hit on Tate and drove him into the ground after the 32-year-old receiver caught a pass in the left flat.

“They’ve got some stuff off the field, and unfortunately it came onto the field, but I just want to go out there and play football,” said Rams safety John Johnson III. “I try to keep Jalen, his head in the game, and can’t be too upset about it, but hopefully they can squash whatever they had and we can move forward from it.”

Ramsey was waiting outside New York’s locker room for Tate after the game but there was not a second confrontation, a source told ESPN.
