A federal judge says adult film star Stormy Daniels is responsible for paying nearly $300,000 in legal fees for President Trump, ABC News is reporting. The order comes two months after Daniels’ defamation suit against Trump was thrown out. Daniels alleged the president acted with “actual malice” and “reckless disregard for the truth” when he used Twitter to mock allegations Daniels made about a man threatening she and her daughter to keep silent about the alleged sexual encounter she had with Trump in 2006.

Daniels’ lawsuit was thrown out because the California judge said Trump’s tweet fell under “‘rhetorical hyperbole’ normally associated with politics and public discourse in the United States.”

Daniels is required to pay $292,052.33 in “attorneys’ fees and costs.”
